Geothermal Energy Development and Utilization Socialization Program
The Indonesian Geothermal Golf Community (IGGC) has taken a significant step forward in promoting geothermal energy in Indonesia by organizing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to raise awareness about the development and utilization of this renewable energy source in Bali.
Held on December 17th, 2022, at the Mahasaraswati University in Denpasar, Bali, the event drew over 150 participants, including university officials, Bali Energy representatives, and government officials from the Bali Provincial Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Department of Labor, and the Environment Agency.
The CSR program aimed to educate participants on the benefits of geothermal energy and its sustainable development. The event was a platform for industry experts, government officials, and students to exchange ideas and insights on geothermal energy development.
The keynote speaker was Mr. Harris, Director of Geothermal Energy at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, who emphasized the importance of geothermal energy as a clean and renewable energy source and highlighted its potential in Bali. Other presentations focused on geothermal resource exploration, geothermal power plant technology, and the economics of geothermal energy development.
IGGC's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility was also on display, as the program not only promoted geothermal energy but also contributed to the social and economic development of the local community.
